Douglas Breault was born and raised in suburban Rhode Island and currently occupies a studio in New Bedford, MA. He works as an interdisciplinary artist, frequently overlapping elements from photography, painting, sculpture, installation, and video. He received his MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, and has been included in exhibitions and screenings at various institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Bristol Art Museum, the Stone Gallery at Boston University, the Carole Calo Gallery at Stonehill College, and the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts. Breault has participated in residencies at AS220 in Providence, and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams.
