Andres David Montenegro Rosero earned his doctorate in Art History and Theory at the School of Philosophy and Art History at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. He will teach Survey of Art from Ancient to Medieval Art (ARTH 103), Survey of Art from Fourteenth Century to the Present (ARTH 104) and Mesoamerican Art and Architecture (ARTH 219). As an art historian, he has a special interest in contemporary art and art from Latin America. He enjoys watching soccer, going to museums and playing video games.
