James G.H. Moore earned a BA in English from BSU (BSC) in 1969, a Master of Arts in English from BSU (BSC) in 1980, and attended two MFA Poetry Program residencies at Goddard College in 1978. He is a poet, novelist, screenwriter and playwright. After graduating from college in 1969, he wrote ad copy for radio, print and television. He worked for an ad agency, for a radio station and as a freelancer in television broadcast. He managed a regional cable news program. He was the coordinator for the cable access facility in Easton and the coordinator then station manager for the Bridgewater cable access television station. He studied radio engineering and production and television engineering and production throughout his broadcast and cable television career. He has taught at a number of colleges since 1980 and at BSU since 1994. He enjoys his work, his classrooms and labs, his colleagues, and his students. He has been married for 47 years and has two daughters and one granddaughter.
