Dr. Danielle A. Bazinet

Dr. Danielle Bazinet has been a dance and theatre educator for over 20 years and has taught in dance studios, elementary schools, and universities. For 18 years, Dr. Bazinet has taught dance technique, dance appreciation, dance education, and musical theater courses as a Part-Time Instructor at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø; currently, she teaches several dance courses online. For 19 years, Dr. Bazinet was the arts department chair and dance and theatre teacher at an elementary school in Massachusetts. There, she built an award-winning performing arts program that received recognition at the state and national levels. She was a founding member of the Regis College Dance Company and a member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company at NYU. Dr. Bazinet presents at state and national conferences, is a curriculum consultant and writer for the Massachusetts Arts Frameworks and The Foundational Skills, and was a contributing author for the dance teacher licensure exam. She was a founding member of the Massachusetts State Chapter of the National Dance Education Organization and a Board Member of an arts advocacy organization called Arts|Learning. Dr. Bazinet has also mentored many student teachers who have become inspiring performing arts educators to future generations. In addition to teaching and choreographing at BSU, she continues to work in higher education as a mentor to educators in curriculum design and creative thinking.
