Ms. Gabruk has over 40 years of experience as a social worker including work in behavioral health, healthcare, child protection, management, and teaching. Trained as a Family Therapist, her career has focused on strength-based work with diverse populations. Growing up with medical challenges triggered a desire to help others. Her mentor was her father who was also a social worker. Ms. Gabruk’s immediate previous position was Chief Operating Officer at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. Prior to her promotion, she was Director of Social Services. Ms. Gabruk was BNHC’s executive lead for implementation of an ACO model of care, Behavioral Health Integration, and the Harm Reduction Clinic. As COO, she also participated with the Executive Director in developing and enhancing the relationship between the health center and the community.
Ms. Gabruk has taught social work courses at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø as an Adjunct Faculty Visiting Assistant Professor since 2003. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Ms. Gabruk is a graduate of the HRSA Johnson & Johnson/UCLA Health Care Executive Program. She recently was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Community Services of Greater Brockton.
