Inclement Weather Campus Closing & Delayed Opening

Current Status

In the event of a campus closure, delay and/or early release, details of the alert will be available here, to the television and radio stations listed below, to BSU's official social media sites (Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram) and to the BSU Mobile app.

 

Details for our campus community

Students

When BSU closes, all classes are canceled, and university offices are closed, except the Central Steam Plant, BSU Police Department, and Facilities Management Department, which remain open. The Bear’s Den and East Campus Commons dining will open during their normal operating hours or as BSU Dining employees are able to arrive on campus. Food delivery by robots will not be available. If BSU is closed for more than one day, arrangements may be made to open additional facilities to provide student activities.

If the BSU is closed during a scheduled exam period, information on new exam dates will be available through the Registrar’s Office on BSU Mobile, the Student Portal, and the University’s homepage as soon as possible.
