Help Others Live More Fulfilling Lives: Speech Language Pathology Degree Programs at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø

Gain a comprehensive understanding of how to assess, diagnose and treat adults and children who need communication assistance with language, hearing and speech.

51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s undergraduate communication sciences and disorders degree programs prepare you to work as speech language assistants or to pursue an advanced degree. Our graduate speech language pathology degree program provides you with the academic and clinical coursework to pursue national certification and state licensure as a speech language pathologist.

BSU’s communications sciences and disorders degree programs also give you the opportunity to:

  • Learn from expert practitioners and educators. At BSU, you will work with educators who have extensive experience in the field as speech language pathologists.
  • Study in small cohorts. Because our communication sciences and disorders degree courses rarely have more than 20 students, you will benefit from the personal attention and mentoring you receive from BSU faculty and staff.
  • Go hands on! Both our undergraduate and graduate degrees give you career-relevant experience. Our undergraduate communication sciences and disorders degree allows you to put your knowledge to work during clinical observation hours, while our graduate speech language pathology degree program offers robust clinical practicum experiences every semester.
