Fieldwork
All students are required to complete fieldwork consisting of supervised teaching at a local public school. Under the guidance of education specialists, students use this valuable time to put theories and skills developed in the classroom to the test in the real world. During fieldwork, students gain essential insight into the challenges and rewards of teaching, receive feedback from professional educators, hone their skills and build confidence.

One of ten active chapters in the state, BSU SEAM provides future teachers with opportunities for professional development, community outreach and political action and advocacy, as well as a forum for professional networking before graduation.
